Christ is Yahweh
There is only one true supreme God ~ YHWH
YHWH ~ is usually translated as LORD
(Should be explained in your Bibles preface)
Jesus is in the Old Testament as the LORD of Hosts and I am
1. Yahweh means: “I Am who I Am.” God explained his Name to Moses during the burning bush encounter when he commissioned Moses to free Israel from Egyptian bondage (Exodus 3:13-15). God’s Name, the “I Am”, gives a sense of the enigmatic, transcendent and eternal nature of God (cf. Rev. 1:8).
Comparing the following Old Testament verses with the corresponding New Testament verses
2. Isaiah 40:3 speaks about preparing the way for the LORD (Yahweh). When we compare this verse with Mark 1:3 we see that Jesus is the LORD who had the way prepared for him by John the Baptist.
3. In Joel 2:32a it says that whoever calls upon the Name of the LORD (Yahweh) will be saved. This verse is quoted by Peter in Acts 2:21, and by Paul in Romans 10:13. Both apostles are referring to Jesus as the LORD.
4. In Isaiah 6:1-10 we read about the marvellous vision that Isaiah had revealing the glory of the LORD (Yahweh). John tells us in John 12:40-41 that this vision revealed the glory of Jesus.
5. In Isaiah 44:6, the LORD (Yahweh) refers to himself as “the First and the Last”. In Revelation 1:8 and 17, Jesus similarly refers to himself as “the Alpha and the Omega” and “the First and the Last”.
6. In Zechariah 12:10 the LORD (Yahweh) is speaking and says that, “they will look on Me whom they have pierced.”[4] This is Jesus speaking (Psa. 22:16; John 19:34). This verse from Zechariah appears again in Revelation 1:7b and is about Jesus Christ.
7. As Yahweh (along with the Father and the Holy Spirit) Jesus is eternal, having all the qualities and attributes of God. Even on earth, in human form, Jesus was the image of the invisible God, and the exact representation of God’s nature (Col. 1:15; Heb. 1:3). Jesus is not some sort of demigod; rather, the fullness of deity (“God-ness”) dwells in him in bodily form (Col. 2:9). Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary, was fully man and fully God, having both a human and divine nature at the same time.
8. As eternal God, Jesus Christ existed before he came to earth as a human baby. He existed before the creation of the earth. In fact, Jesus was instrumental in its creation. The Bible says that allthings were created by Him, and that nothing was made without Him (John 1:1-3; Col. 1:16-17; Heb. 1:2). Jesus is not a created being himself.
9. The Scriptures teach us that there is only one God and we are commanded that we should worship no other gods (Exod. 20:3). From Scripture we can see that Jesus Christ is worshipped eternally, further proving his deity and place in the Godhead (Phil. 2:10-11; Rev. 5:9-14).
As wonderful as Yahweh’s Name is, there is a name which has even greater significance and importance:
10. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him a name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord[5] to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.
11. Jesus’ disciples, those closest to him, testified that Jesus is God. Peter writes “our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ” in 2 Peter 1:1; Thomas addresses Jesus as “My Lord and my God!” in John 20:28; and John called the Word/Jesus, “God” in John 1:1. Also, the apostle Paul calls Jesus “the great God and Saviour” in Titus 2:13.
12. There are 2 Yahweh's in Isaiah 54:5 - For your Maker is your Husband, the LORD of Hosts is His name; AND the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth He is called.
If Jesus is an example to us, shouldn't there be an example of Him worshiping Yahweh? There is no mention of Christ ever worshiping God, but in Revelation he is seated on the right hand of God and there is no distinction of who is being worshiped. If Jesus is an angel shouldn't he be a distinction.
Angels are our fellow servants [Revelation 19:10, 22:9] not above us, as Christ is.
The Plurality of God
In Hebrew God is plural (Creators, Makers, Husbands).
Here are some examples of implied plurality with respect to God in the Old Testament. At the very least they are suggestive even if they are not conclusive proof of multiplicity in God and/or the "Godhead". ~ Courtesy of Trinity Notes website and Anthony Rogers

Genesis 19:24 - "Then LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens."
This passage suggests that there are (at least) two persons with the name [or who share the name of] YHWH. A YHWH on earth who had been speaking to Abraham and A YHWH in heaven who sends down fire and brimstone.

Zechariah 3:1-2 - Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, O Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?"
This passage, like Gen. 19:24, suggest two persons referred to as "LORD" (YHWH, AKA "Jehovah" or "Yahweh"). Notice that the Angel of Jehovah is called simply "Jehovah" at Zechariah 3:2 and then this Jehovah says may Jehovah (i.e. another person also named Jehovah) rebuke you (i.e. Satan).

Hosea 1:7: The LORD is speaking, "Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, I will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword or battle, by horses or horsemen."
Here YHWH speaks about another person as YHWH.
